Your home page is a summary of how the whole business is trading — sales, customers, ratings and loyalty — for whatever period you choose.
Before you start: Nothing — this is available as soon as you sign in.
Where to find it: Sidebar → Home. It's the page you land on after signing in.
Everything on this page is read-only: there's nothing to fill in and nothing to save. It covers all your branches together. For a single branch, open the branch and use its own reports.
The date control at the top right drives every panel on the page at once. Change it and the whole page redraws. The options and how the control behaves are described in.
Panels that compare against a previous period — the figures with up and down arrows — compare your chosen period against the one immediately before it of the same length.
The wide card at the top, headed Overall performance with the note "Sales data for the selected period with all branches included."
On the left is a stacked bar chart broken down by period, with three series: Sales, Refunds and Waste. Waste is stock written off at the till rather than sold.
On the right are three figures for the whole period:
| Figure | What it means |
|---|---|
| Sales | Total sales value taken across all branches |
| Digital receipts | How many digital receipts were issued |
| Refunds | Total value refunded |
Each carries a small arrow and percentage showing the movement against the previous period — green up, red down. Bear in mind that on Refunds an upward movement isn't good news.
Empty state: if there were no transactions in the period the chart draws with no bars and the three figures show zero.
Headed Customer ratings. At the top, the average score out of five and the matching stars. Beside the heading is the total number of ratings received.
Below that, one row per star level from five down to one, each showing the share of ratings at that level as a bar and a percentage, with the number of ratings at the far right.
Unlike the rest of the page, this panel isn't affected by the date control — it shows your ratings overall.
Empty state: "No data to display" means no customer has rated you yet.
The small green card headed You saved, showing the environmental effect of issuing digital receipts instead of paper ones over the selected period: Kg - CO2, Trees, L - Oil and L - Water. Large numbers are abbreviated.
Empty state: all four figures show zero when no digital receipts were issued in the period.
Headed New and returning customers. A bar chart per period with two series: New (customers buying from you for the first time) and Returning (customers who had bought from you before).
Empty state: an empty chart area means no identified customers transacted in the period. Only customers who identify themselves — by scanning at the till — can be counted here.
Headed Sales by age. A horizontal bar chart of sales by customer age band, largest band at the top. The oldest bands are grouped together as 65+. Hover a bar to see the exact figure.
Empty state: no bars means no customers with a known age band transacted in the period.
Headed Sales by gender. A pie chart split into Male, Female and Other.
Empty state: "No sales data available for this period", with the note "Sales data by gender will appear here once transactions are recorded in the system."
Headed Coupons, with the note "The number of issued and redeemed coupons". A bar chart per period with two series: Issued (coupons given out) and Redeemed (coupons actually used).
Empty state: an empty chart means no coupons moved in the period. If you'd expect some, check your rules are live.
Headed Points, with the note "The number of issued and redeemed points". The same shape as the coupons panel: Issued and Redeemed points per period.
Empty state: an empty chart means no points were earned or spent.
The panel at the bottom, headed Top 10 locations. On the left, a table of your best-performing branches for the period, ordered by sales:
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Branch | The branch town and number, with its locality beneath |
| Sales | Sales value taken by that branch |
| Count | How many sales were made |
On the right, the same branches plotted on a map. Click a row to highlight it on the map, or click a map marker to highlight its row.
Empty state: an empty table means no branch recorded sales in the period.
Some dashboard elements may vary depending on your permissions, Merchant Dashboard version, how your store is set up, or active features. If certain data points are not visible which you think should be, please reach out to your store administrator or Wollette Support.
