Product insight lets you pick a few products and see, branch by branch, how many you sold, what they earned and how much came back as refunds.
Before you start: You need at least one branch, and the products you want to compare need to have been sold in the period you're looking at — the product list is built from actual sales, not from your whole catalogue.
Where to find it: Sidebar → Quick access → Product insight.
This page is read-only. There's nothing to fill in and nothing to save — you're choosing what to look at, not changing anything.
Clearing all your branches also clears your product selection, so you start again from the products those branches sold.
Until you've chosen a product, the panel below shows a prompt — Add product to compare, with "Search for a product to compare" underneath.
Once products are selected, each one gets its own row: a thumbnail, the product description, a bin icon to drop it from the comparison, and a chevron to fold the row away. Rows open expanded.
Inside each product's row is a table with one line per branch:
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Branch | The branch the line refers to |
| Sales | How many units that branch sold in the period |
| Amount | The value of those sales, in green, in that branch's currency |
| Refunds | How many units were refunded |
| Amount | The value of those refunds, in amber |
The first Amount column belongs to Sales and the second to Refunds. Reading down a product's table tells you which branches are shifting the product and which are seeing it come back.
Empty state: if a product and branch combination produced nothing in the period, the figures show zero. If a whole product returns nothing at all, either it wasn't sold by any of the branches you picked, or not within the dates you set.
